On the morning of Sunday, April 13, 2025, and with the blessings of allah Almighty, a twinning and joint cooperation agreement was signed between the College of Law at the University of Anbar, represented by its Dean, Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Ouda Mohammed, and the College of Law at Al-Maarif University, represented by its Dean, Professor Dr. Khalid Awad Al-Alwani.

The signing ceremony was attended by Professor Dr. Alaa Hussein Ali, the Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs, and Assistant Professor Dr. Moataz Ali Sabbar, Head of the Law Department.

This agreement aims to strengthen the bonds of collaboration between the two colleges and to elevate their academic, scientific, and research levels. It opens doors to broad strategic partnerships across various educational, administrative, and academic fields.

The scope of cooperation includes the development and harmonization of academic programs and curricula in corresponding disciplines, organizing conferences, seminars, and specialized scientific workshops, as well as promoting joint supervision and thesis discussions for postgraduate students. The agreement also emphasizes the development of faculty competencies and the support of student activities, including scientific, athletic, artistic, cultural, and social initiatives, ensuring a well-rounded academic environment for both institutions.
