College of Law – University of Anbar Expands Its International Engagement through an Official Visit to Malaysia

As part of its ongoing international academic exchange and collaboration initiatives, an official delegation from the College of Law, University of Anbar, Iraq, visited the Faculty of Law (FUU) at the National University of Malaysia (UKM) on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, within the framework of the “International Research Visit Network Activity” and in line with the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the two institutions in the field of legal studies.

The delegation from the University of Anbar was headed by Professor Dr. Ahmed Ouda Mohammed Al-Dulaimi, Dean of the College of Law, while the host side was led by Dr. Mohammad Sayuti Hassan, Deputy Dean for Industry and Community Network Affairs (TD HEJIM).

The meeting focused on exploring opportunities for strategic collaboration in scientific research and the development of academic programs at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Legislative and academic issues of mutual interest were also discussed. Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening academic cooperation in ways that support higher education institutions in both countries.

The meeting was also attended by several faculty and administrative members from the Faculty of Law at the National University of Malaysia, in an atmosphere marked by hospitality and a shared enthusiasm for expanding the scope of academic partnership.

This visit reflects the College of Law – University of Anbar’s commitment to enhancing its international presence and broadening its academic and research collaboration with reputable global universities.
